报告人简介：

Prof. RAID LUAIBI LAFTAreceived the B.Sc. degree in computer science from University of Thi_Qar, Iraq, in 2002, and the M.Sc. degree in information technology from Voronezh State University, Russia, in 2010. He is received the Ph.D. degree from the Faculty of Health, Engineering and Sciences, University of Southern Queensland, Australia. His research interests include recommendation systems and predictive data mining and signal/image processing. He is currently the Head of Planning and Studies Department at University of Thi-Qar, Iraq. He has extensive research experiences in dealing with massive data sets and delivering solutions to complex research problems, and made many contributions to data mining, signal/image processing and information retrieval. His research results have been published in many highly ranked journals including the IEEE Access, Pattern Recognition Letter and conferences including KDD, IEEE/WIC/ACM,and Web Intelligence.

RAID LUAIBI LAFTA 2002年在伊拉克加尔大学获得计算机科学学士学位；2010年在俄罗斯沃罗涅日国立大学获得信息技术硕士学位；2018年在澳大利亚南昆士兰大学健康、工程与科学学院获得了博士学位。他目前是伊拉克加尔大学规划与研究系主任。他的研究兴趣包括推荐系统和预测数据挖掘和信号/图像处理，在处理海量数据集和为复杂的研究问题提供解决方案方面拥有丰富的研究经验，并在数据挖掘、信号/图像处理和信息检索方面做出了许多贡献。他的研究成果已发表在包括IEEE Access、Pattern Recognition Letter、KDD、IEEE/WIC/ACM、Web Intelligence等许多高排名期刊上。
